Hellsongs is a Swedish music group that was founded in Gothenburg in 2004.
The band covert known heavy metal -Musikstücke in a curved, flowing style with purely acoustic instrumentation. Their debut album Lounge , which was only released in Scandinavia , reached number 5 on the Swedish Sverigetopplistan charts . In 2008 their first international album Hymns in the Key of 666 was released on Bodog Music Europe and rose to number 9 in Sweden.
On November 11, 2010, the singer Siri Bergnéhr suffered a minor stroke. After a break from November 2010 to January 2011 due to illness, the band announced on February 21, 2011 that they would split up after one last concert in their hometown of Gothenburg.
The decision to dissolve the group was later revised. In November 2011 the group announced on their website the collaboration with the new lead singer My Engström Renman and tour dates for 2012. In 2013 the album "These Are Evil Times" was released, which for the first time also contained pieces composed by himself; the band opened up to other musical styles.
