Helmut Fahrenbach

Helmut Fahrenbach (born December 18, 1928 ) is a German philosopher and professor emeritus at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen .

Life

After completing his doctorate at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg with Karl Löwith , Helmut Fahrenbach came to the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen as assistant to Walter Schulz in 1956 , where he taught as a professor after completing his habilitation in 1968 until his retirement in 1991. Fahrbach's main areas of work include philosophical anthropology , practical philosophy , existential philosophy and existentialism as well as critical theory of society.
