Helmut Krohne

Helmut Krohne (born 1953 in Hameln , Lower Saxony ) is a German writer.

Life

Until his retirement, Krohne taught as director of studies at a commercial vocational school . In the 1970s and 1980s he published a number of science fiction stories under the pseudonym Peter Crohn , two of which were in collaboration with Hans Joachim Alpers , who wrote under the pseudonym Jörn de Vries. The friendship with Alpers lasted until his death in 2011 - Krohne wrote the obituary. Under his real name, Krohne wrote school books , non-fiction books and travelogues and wrote articles and short stories for newspapers and magazines as well as contributions to secondary science fiction literature.
