Helmut Lessig

Helmut Lessig (* 1972 / 1973 ) is a former German football player .

Life

Lessig switched from the Hamburg Wild Huskies to the Hamburg Blue Devils in the run-up to the 2000 season . At the Blue Devils he was part of the squad in 2000 and 2002, and in 2002 he became German champions with the team.

Lessig's son Miguel Boock also became a football player at performance level, in 2013 father and son were teammates for the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes . Before Lessig, who is nicknamed “Memmo”, moved to Kiel at the age of 40, he had taken a ten-year break from playing.
