Helmut Mander

Helmut Mander (* 1940 in Kassel ) is a German racing driver and businessman.

Career

Called "Der Bergdoktor", the graduate economist was a successful mountain racer at the beginning of the 1970s. During his active time, Mander won over 200 touring car races , mostly in an Opel Kadett tuned by Irmscher . After finishing his driving career, Mander worked for Ferrari Germany as Marketing Director for 25 years . In this role he also organized the runs for the Ferrari Challenge .

Mander has two grown children and now lives in Dietzenbach .
