Helmut Weigelt
Helmut Weigelt (born May 23, 1948 in Bremen ) is a Bremen politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Bremen citizenship .
biography
Family, education and work
After completing secondary school, Weigelt trained as an industrial clerk at the Roha factory in Bremen from 1963 to 1966 . From 1966 to 1977 he was employed in the sales department at the Roha factory . In 1968/69 he did his military service in between. From 1972 to 1973 he completed part-time training as a practical business economist . From 1977 to 1986 he was internal sales manager, later department head and authorized signatory, at the Karl W. Burmeister company in Stuhr . From 1986 to 2011 he was the parish secretary and sexton in the Protestant parish in the Neue Vahr .
He is married and has two children.
politics
Weigelt has been a member of the SPD since 1976. From 1980 to 1982 he was second chairman of the local SPD association Neue Vahr Süd and from 1982 to 1996 its first chairman.
From 1989 to 2011 he was a member of the advisory board of the Bremen- Vahr district . Here he was advisory group spokesman and advisory board spokesman (with an interruption of four years) of the advisory board.
From the 18th electoral period (beginning: June 8th 2011) until 2019 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship.
