Helmut Wolf (born March 15, 1939 in Nüziders ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and ÖBB official. Wolf was a member of the National Council from 1983 to 1994 .

After compulsory school, Wolf attended the commercial vocational school in Bludenz and learned to be an electromechanic. Subsequently, he worked as an electrical mechanic and from 1959 employee of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).

Wolf was a member of the Nüziders municipal council from 1965 and represented the SPÖ in the Vorarlberg state parliament between 1979 and 1983 . He was then a member of the National Council from February 3, 1983 to November 6, 1994. In addition, between 1963 and 1996 he was a member of the state party executive of the SPÖ Vorarlberg, from 1982 to 1995 a member of the federal party executive of the SPÖ and between 1985 and 1997 district party chairman of the SPÖ Bludenz .
