Helmuth Mende

Gustav Otto Helmuth Mende (born June 17, 1884 in Bersenbrück , † March 14, 1932 in Munich ) was a German ministerial official and judge at the Reichsgericht and Reichsfinanzhof .

Life

After graduating from the Friedrichs-Werderschen Gymnasium in Berlin, he studied law in Berlin, Munich and Tübingen. In 1906 he received his doctorate. From 1906 to 1911 he was a trainee lawyer in Prussia. In 1911 he became a court assessor. In 1913 he was appointed district judge in Frankfurt am Main. During the First World War he was a judge-martial at the Generalgouvernement in Belgium. In 1917 he was promoted to district judge. In 1919 he came to the Reich Ministry of Justice . Initially he was acting there on a temporary basis and from 1921 as a ministerial advisor. In 1927 he came to the Reichsgericht as advice . He was u. a. in the III. Civil senate of the Reichsgericht active. In 1930 he moved to the Reichsfinanzhof .
