Helmuth Rhenius
Helmuth Rhenius (born April 13, 1893 in Berlin ; † 1979 ) was a German state politician ( CDU ).
Life
After studying law, Helmuth Rhenius worked in the shipping industry. 1942/44 as operator of the Russian shipyards in Nikoljew. In 1944/45 he was arrested by the Gestapo and remained in captivity until the Red Army marched in. From 1947 to 1961 he was a member of the boards of various shipping companies.
Helmuth Rhenius was a member of the CDU parliamentary group of the Hamburg Parliament in the 5th electoral term in 1966.
