history

GeNiEnd2End emerged from the products GeNiResponse and GeNiKPI . Both were extensions to existing products from other manufacturers. The origin of the development were customer requirements in the context of projects, which could not be met by existing systems. Due to the acceptance on the market, a further development took place as the basis for GeNiEnd2End. GeNiEnd2End installations can now be found in medium- sized companies and corporations , some of which have over 100,000 installed end points.

GeNiEnd2End Application

GeNiEnd2End Application proactively monitors end-to-end connections with the help of software agents . Performance tests are created and carried out from the central console. When the test is carried out, data packets are sent between software agents that can be installed on clients or servers. GeNiEnd2End Network uses endpoints for its tests. These can be installed on servers and clients. Traffic is generated between the endpoints to measure the performance of the network. An administrator can use the measurement data to assess how well an existing infrastructure is suitable for applications and services. GeNiEnd2End QoS

It is an extension for GeNiEnd2End Network with the aim of an automatic detection of QoS misconfigurations. For this purpose, data with QoS parameters are sent to another endpoint. Based on the data received, GeNiEnd2End can recognize whether the infrastructure enables correct QoS operation.

GeNiJack

GeNiJack is an integrated hardware end point for GeNiEnd2End, which serves as a measuring point for 24/7 end-to-end monitoring.
