The Helsingborg Exhibition 1999 , or H99 for short , was a living fair in Helsingborg that took place from July 16 to August 29, 1999.

Its name "H99" alluded to its predecessor, the H55 , the Helsingborg exhibition from 1955, which took place at the same location. On an exhibition area totaling 6,000 m², the fair showed, among other things, 13 new residential buildings with 20 furnished demonstration apartments, as well as Swedish living , architecture , design and technology from the past century. Ikea and the building contractor Skanska stood for a joint project called BoKlok (“WohneKlug”) on the subject of “Good and cheap living”. They also wanted to start a debate about Swedish living and building in the coming years. Some exhibition themes, such as living in the Öresund region , were dealt with in Helsingør , Denmark .

For the fair, the city of Helsingborg had also rebuilt one of the exhibition pavilions from the H55, whose architect had once been Carl-Axel Acking .

The project manager of the fair was architect Ole Reiter . The fair was visited by around 400,000 people, twice as many as expected and the Nordic visitor record for a residential fair.
