Carl-Axel Acking (born March 8, 1910 - † June 12, 2001 ) was a Swedish architect and furniture designer .

Carl-Axel Acking studied at the Art School and the Royal Technical University in Stockholm . From 1939 he had his own architecture office.

During the 1940s and 1950s, Acking was one of Sweden's most important furniture designers. His creations were produced by the Nordiska Kompaniet and the Kooperativa Förbundet , among others . As a designer, he created wallpaper and textile samples, a stamp machine and a telephone booth. As an architect, he designed the Stockholm Hotels Malmen (1951) and Continental (1962). At the world exhibition in Helsingborg in 1955, H55 , he was the main architect and drew the exhibition pavilions. Further works are: Hässelby Familjhotell in Stockholm (1955), Quality Hotel in Östersund (1956), Skånska banken in Malmö (1965) and Birgittakyrkan in Skön (1972).
