Hemboog (in German something like "Hem Bogen") is an approximately 3.3 km long rail overpass structure in the north-west of the Dutch capital Amsterdam , which was opened on December 13, 2003.

The Hemboog gives trains from the northern part of North Holland a direct connection to Schiphol Airport . Before that, passengers had to travel to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station and change there in the direction of the airport.

After the underground station “Jan van Galenstraat”, the Hemboog leaves the Amsterdam Centraal – Schiphol railway line and leads on two single-track viaducts to the west over the Amsterdam – Haarlem railway line (has no connection with this) and then threads into the parallel one Railway line from Amsterdam to Zaandam . After a few hundred meters, the two railway lines in the direction of Haarlem and Zaandam branch out again. In December 2008 a stop was opened at Hemboog near Sloterdijk station. Since then, a train has stopped at the new stop twice an hour in each direction. In the 2020 timetable year, the sprinter Hoorn Kersenboogerd - Zaandam - Amsterdam Sloterdijk - Schiphol - Hoofddorp (- Leiden Centraal) will stop there .
