Hendrik Constantijn Cras

Hendrik Constantijn Cras (born January 4, 1739 in Leiden , † April 5, 1820 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch lawyer and librarian in Amsterdam.

He studied law in Leiden and from 1771 taught as professeur de droit at the Athenaeum Illustre Amsterdam (renamed University of Amsterdam in 1877 ). In 1784 he also became librarian of the Amsterdam Library. In 1785 he married Johanna Maria Verhamme († 1806).
