Hendrik Herzog (born April 2, 1969 in Halle (Saale) ) is a former German football player.
Stations as a player
Hendrik Herzog played in his youth for SG Dynamo Halle-Neustadt and SG Dynamo Eisleben before he was delegated to the youth department of BFC Dynamo in 1981 .
With the reigning title holder he moved up in the 1986/87 season (seven missions, no goal) in the first team and played 63 games (five hits) in the GDR upper league for the Weinroten until 1991 . Herzog played seven games (no goal) in the GDR's national soccer team .
In the course of the unification of the two previously separate German league systems, he moved to the 1st Bundesliga for FC Schalke 04 for the 1991/92 season , where he played for four years. He then went to VfB Stuttgart and, after two years, to the then promoted Hertha BSC . In 2001 he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching , where he ended his career in 2002 after various injuries.
After his career at Hertha, Hendrik Herzog completed an apprenticeship as a sports and fitness clerk. Since the 2007/08 season he has been the kit manager for the Berlin Bundesliga club. In the 2010/11 season he was assistant coach for Hertha's U-19s.
