Hengyang (district)

Hengyang County ( Chinese  衡阳 县 , Pinyin Héngyáng Xiàn ) is a county in the Chinese province of Hunan . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Hengyang (衡阳 市). Hengyang has an area of ​​2,502 km² and has a population of around 1.12 million (2003). Its main town is the large community of Xidu (西 渡镇).
