Henning Bahs Prize
The Henning Bahs Prize ( Danish Henning Bahs-prisen ) is a Danish film prize that was donated in 2012 and is part of the Danish film prize Bodil .
It is awarded for outstanding achievements, for or for the best Danish production design or special effects, as well as at the annual Bodil award. The award was brought to life by the Association of Danish Film Critics ( Danske Filmkritikere , formerly known as Filmmedarbejderforeningenin ) in cooperation with the Association of Danish Set Designers ( Sammenslutningen af Danske Scenografer ), who also organize the jury to award the award. The award was named in honor of the Danish screenwriter and production designer Henning Bahs . In several Danish film and television productions, he was mainly responsible for the corresponding special effects, scenes and sets, which are generally considered to be of high quality. Bahs worked alongside the Danish screenwriter and director Erik Balling on most of his works and formed a successful duo with him.
