The 66th Bodil Awards took place on March 16, 2013 in the Bremen Teater in Copenhagen . The main sponsor was Viasat Film . In 2013 there was also an audience award financed by the company mentioned. The audience could choose between 19 Danish films via the company's website or its Facebook presence. The award ceremony was moderated by Mikael Bertelsen . A ticket cost 500 DKK.

The Honorary Bodil was awarded to Bent Fabricius-Bjerre . Jacob Wendt Jensen, chairman of the awarding Filmmedarbejderforeningen explained this as follows: “For a generation, no, for two to three generations, Bent Fabricius-Bjerre has made the songs and music for Danish films happier.
