Trine Dyrholm (born April 15, 1972 in Odense ) is a Danish singer , theater and film actress and director .

In 1987, when she was fourteen, she took part in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix , the Danish qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest , with the band The Moonlighters and the song Danse i måneskin , and achieved third place.
In 1995 she successfully graduated from the state theater school and then played in film and television as well as in the theater. In addition to roles in numerous Danish films, such as B. the internationally successful In your hands or in China they eat dogs , they played z. B. also in the German drama Bungalow .
She made a guest appearance in the successful Danish comedy show Mr. Nice Guy by the brothers Anders and Peter Lund Madsen at Bellevue Teatret in Klampenborg, where she provided the vocals. An EP with three songs with an unusual hit parade story was also released under this title. The record hit the Danish charts for the first time on December 17, 2004. Since June 24, 2005, it has been in the top 5 without interruption for one and three quarters of years, including number 1 for 62 weeks until April 6, 2007.
In 2014 Dyrholm was a juror at the Berlinale . In 2018 she was appointed to the competition jury of the 75th Venice International Film Festival .

- She has received numerous Bodil and Robert awards as well as the Lauritzen award, making her one of Denmark's most frequently awarded actors .
- For her role in Thomas Vinterberg's Die Kommune , she received the Silver Bear for best actress at the 2016 Berlinale .
