Roland Møller

Roland Greisen Møller (born August 1, 1972 in Odense , Denmark ) is a Danish actor .

Live and act

Møller grew up in his hometown Odense, as a teenager he slipped into the criminal scene and was convicted of ten violent crimes by 2002 and served prison terms of four and a half years. In order to be released early, he agreed to the probation to leave Odense and went to Copenhagen . There he worked with the Danish rapper Jokeren as a songwriter.

He made his acting debut in the drama R , in 2010 in a supporting role. Director Tobias Lindholm had actually hired him as a consultant to draw on his experience in prison, but then offered him the supporting role. For this role he was nominated in 2011 in the category Best Supporting Actor for the Danish Film Prize Bodil . In 2014 he won the Bodil for the supporting role in Northwest. In his first leading role he played the role of a Danish officer in World War II in the war drama Unter dem Sand - The Promise of Freedom . In 2018 he played the role of Kores Botha in the US production Sykscraper . In 2020 he was seen in a leading role in all eight episodes of the Neoriginal series Sløborn .
