Tobias Lindholm

Tobias Lindholm (born July 5, 1977 in Næstved ) is a Danish film director and screenwriter .

He writes screenplays for both television series episodes and films. He has been awarded various prizes. In 2007 he graduated from Den Danske Filmskole with a degree in scriptwriting . The film R (2010) made his debut as a director and won several awards. A success that was also repeated in the second film he directed, Hijacking - In the Violence of Pirates . His film about the Afghanistan war A War was nominated at the 2016 Academy Awards in the category Best Foreign Language Film and received the Peace Prize of German Film - Die Brücke (main international prize) in 2016 .
