The Danske Filmskole
Den Danske Filmskole (Eng. " The Danish Film School "), internationally The National Film School of Denmark , is the Danish state film school in Copenhagen . It was founded in 1966 by filmmaker and theorist Theodor Christensen and is located in Copenhagen.
History and location
The university was founded in 1966 by the filmmaker and theoretician Theodor Christensen . In 2020, Bo Damgaard was the acting head. It is located on the small island of Frederiksholm in the port of Copenhagen . The Rhythmic Music Conservatory and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts are in the neighborhood .
Study program
Offered the four-year study programs screenplay , sound, editing , directing in fictional films, directed documentaries , directed film production . The courses in directing animation films and directing computer games last four and a half years. The film school has around 100 places for students, the ratio of teaching staff to students was 1: 2 in 2020.
