Pernille Bech Christensen

Pernille Bech Christensen (born April 3, 1959 ) is a Danish film editor .

Life

After Pernille Bech Christensen was allowed to assist with the editing of the Danish comedy Kurt og Valde for the first time in 1983 , it was only a few years later that Christensen was responsible for editing a film in the television documentary Under uret .

With the Danish director Susanne Bier , whom she has known since the days together at Danske Filmskole , she has a longstanding collaboration that began in 1986 with De Saliges Ø and includes films such as Brothers - Between Brothers , Forever and Eternal and In a Better World , which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2011 . She also edited the Dreamworks production A New Chance for Susanne Bier , her first film outside Denmark.
