Soccer

The first soccer team was able to draw attention to itself for the first time in 2000, when it achieved promotion to the Association League Westphalia . The team prevailed against SV Hohenlimburg in the penalty shoot-out in the play-off for the national league championship . The following season in the Westphalia League ended the Wittgensteiner in fifth place.

In the following years the club established itself in the league. After a third place in the 2007/08 season and the runner-up in the 2009/10 season behind SpVgg Erkenschwick , the championship and the associated promotion to the fifth class NRW league succeeded early in the 2010/11 season . Erndtebrück also won the final of the district cup against Sportfreunde Siegen . After the dissolution of the NRW League at the end of the 2011/12 season , the club entered the Oberliga Westfalen in the 2012/13 season . There the team took part in the promotion race for a long time and led the league in the meantime. In the end, fourth place in the table was enough for the most successful season in the club's history. At the end of the season, the successful four-year tenure of coach Peter Cestonaro ended .

After finishing the 2013/14 season in fifth place, the team won the league championship in the 2014/15 season and was promoted to the Regionalliga West . In addition, they qualified for the first main round of the DFB Cup , in which they met Bundesliga club Darmstadt 98 . The game was lost 5-0. Behind the sports boom of recent years is the patron Jörg Schorge, CEO of Erndtebrücker ironworks . After only one year in the regional league, TuS was relegated third from bottom . The low point of the season was a 1: 9 defeat at Rot-Weiss Essen . Relegation was followed by direct promotion from the football Oberliga Westfalen 2016/17 to the football regional league West 2017/18 .

TuS Erndtebrück also got a place in the DFB Cup 2017/18 and met Eintracht Frankfurt there . This game was played on August 12, 2017 in Siegener Leimbachstadion and ended 3-0 for Frankfurt. The second season in the regional league also ended with relegation as the penultimate of the 2017/18 season . However, the TuS Erndtebrück reached the final in the Westphalia Cup, which they lost against SC Paderborn . Since the Paderborn team were qualified for the DFB-Pokal 2018/19 as second division promoters , TuS Erndtebrück moved up as a finalist. In the first round they met Hamburger SV and lost 3: 5.

The club's second team became champions in the district league in the 2010/11 season and rose again to the state league. In the following season of the regional league, the team took third place and thus made it through to the association league. They only stayed here for a year, but managed to climb back up in the 2013/14 season.
