The 2011/12 season of the NRW-Liga was the fourth and final season of the Football-NRW-Liga as the fifth highest division in Germany. The season began on August 7, 2011 and ended on June 3, 2012. As the regional league west from the 2012/13 season only included the entire state of North Rhine-Westphalia as a result of the league reform , the NRW league was dissolved as a substructure. The re-introduced Oberliga Westfalen as well as the Oberliga Niederrhein and Mittelrheinliga replaced the NRW League as the fifth highest division below the Regional League West.
The champions were FC Viktoria Köln , one point ahead of Sportfreunde Siegen . Both teams and the second team of MSV Duisburg were promoted directly to the regional league. The SSVg Velbert , the VfB sleeve , the KFC Uerdingen 05 and SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 reached the ascent Games for Regional where Velbert, pulses and Bergisch Gladbach also qualified for the Regional. The remaining teams play in the respective league in the 2012/13 season.
The top scorer was Mike Wunderlich from champions FC Viktoria Köln with 32 goals.
