Gianluca Marzullo (born January 4, 1991 in Cosenza ) is a German-Italian football player . The striker is under contract with the fourth division club Wuppertaler SV .

Career

Marzullo began his career at the age of five at Blau-Weiß 98 Gütersloh . In 1999 he moved to FC Gütersloh , which became FC Gütersloh 2000 a year later . After six years at FCG , he moved to Arminia Bielefeld , where he was used in the U-17 and U-19 Bundesliga . In the 2010/11 season Marzullo moved up to the squad of the Arminia second team and scored nine goals in 32 regional league games. On December 3, 2011, he made his first-team debut at the third division game of Arminia with Werder Bremen's second team when he came on for Eric Agyemang . It was his only use in Arminia's first team.

For the 2012/13 season , Marzullo switched to the second team at Bayer 04 Leverkusen , where he did not score in 18 games. A year later he moved back to FC Gütersloh 2000 in the Oberliga Westfalen and was the most successful striker of his team in the first half of the season. In January 2014 Marzullo moved to the regional division 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig , with whom he was relegated to the league. From summer 2015 he was under contract with the regional division Rot Weiss Ahlen for a year and a half . In the winter break of 2016/17 he left the club and switched to league rivals SC Verl . His contract there ended in summer 2018 and was not renewed.

Marzullo then moved to the upper division Westfalia Herne . For the 2019/20 season he returned to the Regionalliga and signed a contract with Wuppertaler SV .
