RevierSport is a sports magazine based in Essen .

history

The magazine has been published twice a week since 1987 with the editions RevierSport on Monday and RevierSport on Thursday . The main focus of the reporting is football in the Ruhr area, from the Bundesliga clubs to the clubs of the amateur leagues.

The RevierSportExtra magazine appears twice a year at the beginning of the round two .

Reviersport has been relocated since it was founded by PROKOM Medienberatungs- und Verlagsgesellschaft mbH , which was taken over by Funke Mediengruppe in 2012 .

RevierSport has had its own online editorial team since October 2006. The website of the specialist magazine has since been published by RevierSport online GmbH. This was preceded by a merger with the regional soccer portal revierkick.de. In August 2009 the site was relaunched for the first time.

Press advice

In 2007 the German Press Council reprimanded the newspaper for violating the press code . According to the press council , she had violated a woman's privacy by giving her name, occupation and employer. The woman was on trial for stalking .
