Ole Christian Madsen (born June 18, 1966 in Roskilde ) is a Danish film director and screenwriter .

Life

Ole Madsen studied at the Danish Film School in the early 1990s , and then began to appear as a director and screenwriter in Danish film and television. He made his feature film debut in 1999 with the immigrant drama Pizza King . Two years later he was awarded the most important Danish film awards, Bodil and Robert , for the dogma film Kira .
