Erik Molberg Hansen

Erik Molberg Hansen (born May 12, 1966 in Copenhagen , Denmark ) is a Danish cameraman and photographer .

Life

Molberg was an exchange student in Istanbul in the mid- 1980s , where by chance he took a job as a reportage photographer in a weekly magazine. Through his further work as an assistant to an American documentary filmmaker in Turkey, he came into contact with the medium of film and later became a fashion and advertising photographer in Hamburg. He then began studying at Den Danske Filmskole in 1995 , which he graduated in 1999. There he met the later Danish director Pernille Fischer Christensen and was responsible not only for her graduation film India , but also for her short film Habibti min elskede and her debut feature film En Soap as cameraman.

After he was nominated for the renowned Danish film award Robert as Best Cinematographer for his cinematography on the political thriller Fluerne på væggen as well as on the drama En Soap , he also received a nomination for the Swedish film award Guldbagge as Best Cinematographer for his Swedish camera debut in the drama Bessere Times .
