Henning Deters

Henning R. Deters (* 1968 in Essen ) is a German manager .

Life

After graduating from high school in Essen-Überruhr, Deters studied economics at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster from 1988 to 1994 . He completed a degree in Corporate Strategy & Change Management at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa , California / USA with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) .

In 1995 he worked for E.ON Ruhrgas AG , from 1997 in gas purchasing. In 2002 he became Director of Gas Purchasing Central Europe. In 2006 Deters became director of gas purchasing in Central Europe and managing director and spokesman for E.ON Gastransport & Co. KG and E.ON Gastransport Management GmbH . In December 2007 he became Head of Sales at E.ON Ruhrgas AG, and from April 1, 2008 to October 1, 2009 he was in charge of gas sales and marketing. From 2008 to 2011 he was a member of the E.ON Ruhrgas AG Board of Management with responsibility for technology and infrastructure. He was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Open Grid Europe (formerly E.ON Gastransport GmbH) and was a member of the Supervisory Board of GASAG Berliner Gaswerke AG until June 29, 2010 . Since November 2010 he was a member of the supervisory board of the energy and water service provider Thüga AG .

Since October 1, 2011, he has been the CEO of Gelsenwasser AG in Gelsenkirchen , one of the largest drinking water supply companies in Germany.

Henning Deters lives in Essen, is married and has two children.
