Henning Schrader

Henning Schrader (born September 25, 1940 in Hanover ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After primary school, Henning Schrader attended the Hannoversche Humboldt-Gymnasium and passed the Abitur there in 1960. He enlisted in the Bundeswehr as a temporary soldier for two years and became a first lieutenant in the reserve. He then studied in Göttingen, Cologne and Berlin Economics and graduated in 1967 in Göttingen a degree in economics. From 1967 to 1972 he took on management positions at the Society for Sales Promotion of German Agriculture and the Central Marketing Society of German Agriculture in Bad Godesberg . From 1973 he then worked as a freelance management consultant, mainly for medium-sized companies. Schrader joined the CDU in 1972. He took over the chairmanship of the supervisory board of Wasserversorgung Barsinghausen GmbH. In 1974 he was elected to the city council of Barsinghausen for the first time, and from 1979 he took over the chairmanship of the CDU council group. From June 21, 1982 to June 20, 1986 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (10th electoral term). He is married and has three children.
