Henning Nørgaard Wind (born January 19, 1937 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish sailor .
successes
Henning Wind, who sailed for the Hellerup Sejlklub , took part in the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 and in Mexico City in 1968 in the Finn-Dinghy boat class . In 1964 he finished the regatta with 6190 total points in third place behind Willi Kuhweide and Peter Barrett and thus won the bronze medal. At the opening ceremony of the Games, he acted as the flag bearer of the Danish delegation. Four years later, he finished 18th at the Olympic regatta with 125 points, but secured the title at the World Championships in Whitstable .
