Henri Andrieux

Henri Andrieux (born September 23, 1931 in Paris , † January 2, 2008 in Villejuif ) was a French cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

His first significant success was winning the French championship in the single pursuit of amateurs in 1950. He defended this title up to and including 1955, from 1952 as a professional , after which he had switched to professional drivers after the Summer Olympics. At the Olympic Summer Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he competed in the 1000-meter time trial and finished ninth. In the team pursuit , he finished fourth with his team. 1954 to 1956 he was each runner-up in the single pursuit at the French championships. He was also able to win a national title three times (1950-1952) in the team pursuit.
