Henri Mulet
Henri Mulet (born October 17, 1878 in Paris , † September 20, 1967 in Draguignan ) was a French organist and composer.
He studied at the Paris Conservatory with Charles-Marie Widor and Alexandre Guilmant . He was organist at various Paris churches and taught at the École Niedermeyer de Paris and at the Schola Cantorum from 1924 to 1931. From 1937 to 1958 he was organist at the Cathedrale von Draguignan.
His best-known works are the Esquisses byzantines (1914-19), especially the last movement, the Toccata on Tu es Petra . He died childless in a monastery in 1967.
