Henrik Gunde Pedersen
Henrik Gunde Pedersen (born July 22, 1969 in Esbjerg ) is a Danish jazz pianist .
Pedersen attended the Vestjysk Conservatory of Music , which he graduated as a jazz pianist. He worked u. a. with Lisa Nilsson , Fredrik Lundin , Billy Cobham , Jimmy Heath , Aldo Romano and Tom Harrell and is a member of the Tivoli Big Band . He is also a regular partner of Katrine Madsen , whom he accompanied on two albums. He also played with the DR Big Band .
Since 1994 he has led his own trio with Nicolas Kock and Steen Holm , which specializes in the style of Erroll Garner . He is also a member of the Ulf Wakenius Quartet. In 2007 he took part in the third Copenhagen Jazz Festival in Berlin .
