Henry Oehler
Henry P. Oehler (born March 22, 1916 in New York City , † February 9, 1991 in Tucson , Arizona ) was an American handball goalkeeper .
life and career
Oehler was a member of the German Sport Club from Brooklyn at club level . With the US national team he took part in the Olympic field handball tournament in 1936 and was used in all three games against Hungary (2: 7), Germany (1:29) and Romania (3:10).
His older brother Otto Oehler (1913–1941) was also part of the Olympic handball team in 1936. His main job was as a shipping clerk , while Oehler served as a warrant officer during World War II .
