Henry Smalls

Henry Smalls (born around 1962 in the USA) is an American martial artist and actor .

Life

Smalls grew up as the eldest of four brothers in Philadelphia. At the age of 11 he was a victim of juvenile violence and lost both of his legs. Nevertheless, he trained several martial arts. He won numerous karate championships (4th Dan) and switched to Kendō (6th Dan) in 1981 . He also trains Iaidō , Aikidō , Jiu Jitsu and Kung Fu . He now runs his own martial arts school in Honolulu .

Through his athletic achievements, despite the disability, he achieved a high level of awareness, which also had an impact on his professional orientation towards acting.
