background
- David Wark Griffith soon became famous as a director. He regularly cast Robert Harron, who - at that time still unknown - took on an extra role in his films, making him a star.
- For the first time the character "AB" was faded into the subtitle as a mark for the American Biograph. The production company wanted to protect itself against piracy and copies.
