Herbert Bals (born March 14, 1949 ) is a former German soccer player .
From July 1973 Bals, who played 26 games (5 goals) in the Regionalliga with SSVg Velbert in the 1969/70 season , played for 1. FC Mülheim in the Regionalliga West and the 2. Bundesliga North . After a total of 41 games for Mülheim , Bals moved to league rivals Schwarz-Weiß Essen in November 1974 . For the 1976/1977 season he signed a contract with Westfalia Herne , where he was active until 1979. His last station was BV 08 Lüttringhausen , where he ended his career in the 2nd Bundesliga in 1984.
