Herbert Kleinewefers

Herbert Kleinewefers (born April 10, 1909 in Krefeld ; † August 18, 2006 ) was a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

Born Catholic Herbert Kleinewefers, born in Krefeld, son of the engineer Adolf Kleinewefers and Maria Kleinewefers, née Kamp, studied law and political science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich after graduating from high school on, which he achieved with the doctorate to Dr. jur. completed.

Herbert Kleinewefers was appointed federal judge at the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe in 1951 after various professional assignments, and in 1963 he resigned from this position. He then took over the office of President of the Higher Regional Court in Koblenz . Herbert Kleinewefers, whose main focus was on insurance law, emerged as the author of numerous articles on medical liability and traffic law .

Herbert Kleinewefers married the lawyer Dr. jur. Anneliese, née Rody. He died in the summer of 2006 at the old age of 97. Herbert Kleinewefers was the nephew of the founder of the Krefeld machine factory Johann Kleinewefers sons, Johannes Kleinwefers, and the cousin of Paul Kleinewefers .
