Herbert Müller-Hartburg

Herbert Müller-Hartburg (born October 7, 1925 in Vienna ; † April 10, 2011 there ) was an Austrian architect .

Müller-Hartburg planned many residential and industrial buildings, including the large-scale radar station on Kolomansberg and the conversion of the Roman Catholic. Parish church in Gablitz and the Florido Tower (with his son Andreas). He was President of the Chamber for Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland from 1968 to 1970 and President of the Federal Chamber of Engineers from 1970 to 1978. In 1999 he was appointed honorary professor at TU Graz.

Herbert Müller-Hartburg was invested in the Archabbey Church of St. Peter in Salzburg in 1958 and was Grand Officer (Commander with a star) of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem . In 1973 he was honored with the ring of honor and in 1978 with the honorary presidency of the Federal Chamber of Architects and Engineering Consultants. He was awarded the Great Silver Medal of Honor for Services to the State of Vienna and from 1995 was awarded the Golden Laurel of the Society of Austrian Artists, Künstlerhaus.

Müller-Hartburg is buried in Grundlsee .
