Herbert Meusburger
Herbert Meusburger (born February 7, 1953 in Bizau ) is an Austrian sculptor .
Life
Herbert Meusburger attended the Elbigenalp wood carving school from 1968 to 1972 . From 1986 he took part in symposia and from 1990 to 1993 he directed the 1st, 2nd and 3rd International Sculpture Symposium in Hohenems . In 1991 he bought a quarry in the Mühlviertel.

Herbert Meusburger soon devoted himself to stone and granite. He creates contrasts between raw and processed surfaces, between connecting and separating, between connections and gaps. His partly monumental works in public space are created with reference to the respective location.
