Herbert Paschen (politician)

Herbert Paschen (born March 13, 1935 in Bochum ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Paschen attended elementary school, high school and the Rechtspflegerschule, today's technical college. After graduating from high school, he trained as a judicial officer, passed the judicial officer exam and was appointed judicial inspector, so that from 1959 he worked as a judicial officer at the Norderstedt district court .

In 1955 Paschen joined the Junge Union and in 1974 the CDU. He was a civil member of the committee for youth and sport of the city of Norderstedt , city representative, city council, mayor of the city of Norderstedt and chairman of the local advisory board. From 1988 to 1996 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .
