Herbert Tietze

Herbert Anton Karl Tietze (born June 17, 1909 in Tetschen ; † after 1960) was a German lawyer in the service of the Nazi regime.

biography

He studied law at the German Charles University in Prague . As an auscultant , he worked at the Leitmeritz district court in 1939 . An employment at the district court of Reichenberg followed .

From June 1939 to the end of 1940 he was transferred to the Reich Court in Leipzig to work as a translator of Czech documents. From January 1941 to 1945 he worked as a local judge at the local court in Mährisch Trübau .

Tietze was also active in politics. So he became a member of the Sudeten German Party (SdP) on May 14, 1938 . Five months later, on October 25, 1938, he joined the SA and received the rank of SA squad leader.

He became a member of the NSDAP on April 1, 1940 ( member no. 7,994,787). He worked for the NSDAP as a deputy judge at the district party court in Mährisch Trübau. At the same place he also took on the function of a clerk for legal advice at HJ -Bann 628.

By making himself available to the SD of the SS in Mährisch Schönberg from January 1944 , he took an active part in the suppression of the Nazi opponents.

After the war he was sought after internationally because he was on the list of the United Nations War Crimes Commission . In the sixties he worked as a higher regional judge at the higher regional court in Karlsruhe .
