history

In the 16th century, the lords of Pappenheim ruled Herbishofen. As a result, the Reformation according to Zwingli was introduced in 1559 by Philipp von Pappenheim . One of the oldest Protestant-Reformed congregations in Germany still exists in Herbishofen (together with the community of Theinselberg ) and the sister community in Bad Grönenbach .
