Herdegen Valzner († 1423 ) was a Nuremberg mining entrepreneur, banker and caretaker of the Heilig-Geist-Spital . He came from the Valzner patrician family .

Herdegen Valzner made several foundations, including the Mauritius Chapel in 1419 and the Valzner Chapel, which was destroyed in 1945. The Valznerweiher is named after him.

His tomb is in the crucifixion courtyard of the Heilig-Geist-Spital next to a comparable tomb of Konrad Groß .
