Herder sponsorship award

The Herder Prize has been awarded since 2011 to students and doctoral candidates at German-speaking universities who deal with technically or artistically demanding work, in particular with the life's work of Johann Gottfried Herder . The prize is awarded by the Evangelical Lutheran Church District Weimar, the Sophien- und Hufelandklinikum Weimar and the Diakoniestiftung Weimar Bad Lobenstein . The Herder Prize is awarded and presented annually on August 25th in the Herder Church Weimar as part of Herder's birthday .

The jury awards the Herder sponsorship award and, if submissions are appropriate, further recognitions for special works.
