The Herekol is a mountain in Turkey . It is 2838 m high and is located in the Pervari district . The Herekol belongs to the southeastern Taurus range and forms the highest point in the Siirt province . The name Yazlıca Dağı is also common on maps.

The slopes were originally forested with oak trees. However, the population has decreased significantly. In the southeast of Herekol is the narrow Behrancı valley. The Kilis stream rises on the slopes of the Herekol and merges with the Botan in an east-west direction .

In the region of the Herekol, fighting between the Turkish army and forces of the Kurdish guerrillas often took place. In the imagination of the Kurdistan Workers' Party , the Herekol is therefore of great importance.
