The Herero Cemetery ( English Herero Grave Complex ) is a cemetery in Okahandja in the Otjozondjupa region in Namibia . The cemetery complex has been a Namibian National Monument since March 20, 1990 .
The central point of the Herero cemetery is the monument of three traditional leaders . The cemetery is considered to be the most important place of the Herero and is still visited today as a place of worship during the Herero Day .
