Herman Murray
Herman Murray (born December 5, 1909 in Montréal , Québec , † November 27, 1998 ibid) was a Canadian ice hockey player .
Career
Herman Murray began his career as a hockey player in his hometown with the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association, for which he was active in the 1929/30 season. In the following years he remained connected to ice hockey in Montréal. From 1930 to 1933 and in the 1935/36 season he played for the Montreal Victorias and from 1933 to 1935 and from 1936 to 1940 he played for the Montreal Royals. He also represented Canada as a guest player with the Port Arthur Bearcats at the 1936 Winter Olympics.
International
For Canada , Murray took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , where he and his team won the silver medal.
